Dear lovely friends,
Today Mark was told he does have Fatty Liver disease. He has to lose 10% of his body weight. I am very glad that they didn't throw lots of faddy diets at him, he just needs to lose the weight, so he can still follow the way we eat but NO cakes and no naughty snacks when I'm not looking! LOL
He is fine, I am upset! He also has been told until the liver is well again the thyroid problem will still remain so this is doubly important he heeds to the warning.
Much love and thank you for the prayers and support,
Amanda

Mark and exercise are not a good combination although before we met he didn't have a car and would walk MILES to come to see me! LOL And all over London...
He is also the biggest salad dodger I know! But in time he will come to LOVE salad and fruit, watch this space! LOL
Thanks for the lovely messages...
Mel- yes he has 10% to lose but as soon as possible- I reckon that will be the easy part as he has managed to put on 8 stone (yes, 8) since we were married and he was chunky then! LOL Bless him!
Love, Amanda

Hi Amanda, If your man loves meat then you could try a high protein and low carb diet to help him shift the pounds - however, no more gobbling of lovely chocs and cakes in front of him love, Barbara XXXXX

Hi Barbara,
He is not the perfect Nourishing Trads man, sadly! LOL he doesn't eat any meat at all! Well, chicken and sometimes bacon but no red meat..
I have brown spagjetti and spinach spaghetti which is better than plain old white...
He'll be fine I'm sure, I am actually quite relieved that now when I search in the fridge my chocs will still be there! He ate both my caramel bars the children had bought me for Christmas but he does replace them as soon as! Cheeky monkey!
Love,
Amanda
